Project Manager Build Geely’s Ireland business from the ground up — coordinate cross-functional teams, drive market launch and turn ambitious plans into a successful national automotive business. At Geely, our story began in 1986 with a simple but powerful idea, an idea that has driven us to become one of the world’s most forward-thinking automotive groups. For nearly three decades, we’ve been redefining mobility through our iconic global brands, including Geely Auto, Volvo Cars, Polestar, Lotus, Zeekr, Lynk & Co, the London Electric Vehicle Company, Farizon, and more. Following the successful establishment of Geely Auto UK, we are now creating a dedicated National Sales Company in Ireland as part of Geely's continued European expansion. We're looking for ambitious automotive professionals who want the rare opportunity to build a new national business from the ground up, backed by one of the world's leading automotive technology groups. Few careers offer the opportunity to build a national automotive business, shape a brand and influence its future from day one. This is one of them. Exciting products are just the beginning. You'll play a key part in the business that brings them to Ireland. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Project Manager – Ireland will be a key member of the developing Geely Ireland organisation, playing a hands-on role in establishing the business, preparing for market launch and supporting its subsequent growth. Reporting to the Operations Manager – Ireland, the Project Manager will coordinate and drive delivery of cross-functional projects across the Irish business, initially with a major focus on the Ireland market-entry and launch programme. The role will take day-to-day responsibility for coordinating the Ireland Subsidiary Project Management Plan, ensuring activities are clearly defined, appropriately owned and delivered against agreed milestones. The Project Manager will connect workstreams across Ireland, Geely Auto UK and Geely Headquarters, maintaining visibility of progress, dependencies, risks and actions. Main Responsibilities Coordinate and drive delivery of the Ireland market-entry and launch programme, working across all relevant business functions. Manage and maintain the Ireland Subsidiary Project Management Plan, ensuring activities, milestones, owners and dependencies remain accurate and current. Maintain a clear view of the critical path to market launch and Start of Sales, identifying risks to delivery and escalating issues promptly. Work proactively with individual workstream owners to ensure actions progress and agreed commitments are delivered. Coordinate dependencies across Sales, Network Development, Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Logistics, Aftersales, Customer Experience and other functions. Establish effective project disciplines including milestone tracking, action logs, risk and issue management, decision tracking and regular progress reviews. Identify gaps, potential problems and areas where additional action is required rather than relying solely on information provided by individual workstreams. Bring together the right stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and remove barriers to delivery. Produce clear, concise project dashboards, launch timelines and management updates from the detailed project plan. Support the Operations Manager and Country Manager with project reviews, management reporting and preparation for key project decisions. Act as an effective working interface between the Ireland team, Geely Auto UK, Geely Headquarters and other Group entities. Coordinate launch-readiness reviews and ensure outstanding actions are clearly identified, owned and closed. Support specific operational and commercial projects outside the core launch programme as required. As the business transitions from establishment into normal operations, support continuous improvement and other strategic cross-functional projects across Geely Ireland. What we Offer Opportunity to play a key role in the launch and development of a new automotive brand in Ireland. Collaborative and entrepreneurial working environment. Exposure to regional and international projects and teams. Career development opportunities within a rapidly growing international automotive business. Competitive salary and benefits package.
