Job Summary The Project Manager (non-IT) is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. Project managers are responsible for a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to, IT, HR, and marketing. This position is salary, exempt. Key Job Responsibilities: Determine and define project scope and objectives. Predict resources that are needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner. Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. Track project costs in order to meet budget. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Management or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Minimum 5 years project management experience - similar or related indusry experience preferred (Telecom, Battery, Power, HVAC, etc.) Proven ability to solve problems creatively. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. Excellent analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices. Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs. Proficient in Microsoft Office Highly independent with organized, strong work ethic and team mentality Ability to travel up to 10%, with the possibility of several overnight travel requirements. *This job description is subject to change at any time.
