The Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering complex ERP and enterprise software implementation projects for global customers. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for project execution, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and overall project success. The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent engagements, collaborate with geographically distributed teams, and drive projects from initiation through successful go-live and customer adoption.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

  • Lead and manage multiple in-flight Services projects within the FSM (Field Service Management) and HRT (Human Resources Talent) solution portfolios.
  • Deliver end-to-end Infor product implementation projects for global customers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Drive customer adoption initiatives, including supporting strategic objectives such as increasing GDS adoption and maximizing customer value realization.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), governance frameworks, and executive dashboards using tools such as Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps.
  • Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, margin management, change orders, and P&L accountability.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks, manage escalations, and lead recovery actions for at-risk projects.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders, executive sponsors, and cross-functional teams while managing expectations and driving alignment.
  • Lead steering committee meetings and deliver concise executive-level reporting on project status, risks, decisions, and business outcomes.
  • Coordinate global project teams across multiple regions and time zones, driving accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance standards, implementation best practices, and organizational policies.
  • Support pre-sales and business development efforts by acting as an Opportunity Manager for strategic, complex, or high-risk engagements.
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Management Office (PMO).

Basic Qualifications:

Experience Required
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall IT or business systems experience.
  • At least 5+ years of project management experience leading full-cycle ERP implementation projects, including medium to high-complexity engagements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent customer projects in a global delivery environment.
  • Experience working with enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven success managing projects with distributed and multicultural teams
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and governance practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align business and technical teams.
  • Advanced problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, profitability, and commercial impacts.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational environments and influence teams toward successful outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, customer success drivers, and change management principles
Product Knowledge
  • Experience with enterprise applications and ERP solutions, preferably within Infor products such as FSM, HRT, LN, M3, CloudSuite, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with implementation methodologies, system integration concepts, and cloud-based delivery models.
Job Requirements
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Office Suite, and project reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations, facilitate decision-making, and maintain engagement through complex delivery cycles.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support global customers and project teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required for customer engagements, project governance, and business needs.
  • Experience recovering at-risk projects and managing executive escalations is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to GenAI-enabled project delivery, including the use of AI tools to support planning, reporting, risk analysis, productivity improvements, and customer value realization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience within Infor implementation environments or enterprise software consulting organizations.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation programs involving multiple workstreams, geographies, or business functions.
  • Experience supporting contract negotiations, scope management, and commercial discussions.
