Contract opportunity supporting an eReferral and Central Intake System implementation for a Saskatchewan public-sector healthcare organization.
- Remote candidates located anywhere in Canada are eligible.
- Occasional travel to Saskatchewan may be required.

What & Why:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead clinically focused IT implementation work supporting referral and central intake services. You will coordinate delivery across business, technical and healthcare stakeholders, establish clear project plans and support decisions that keep implementation on schedule, within budget and aligned with quality expectations. The assignment includes requirements and design oversight, vendor coordination, organizational change, testing, implementation and transition to operations.
Who:
Reporting to the Director of Citizen and Referral Services, you will work with project teams, sponsors, steering committees, vendors and health-system stakeholders. The environment involves complex needs, competing priorities and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams. Clear communication and practical coordination will be essential.
You:
You are a PMP-certified Project Manager with a strong record of managing large-scale technology projects. You can translate complex delivery requirements into workable plans, coordinate cross-functional teams and provide clear information for decisions. You are comfortable working independently, managing changing priorities and supporting the people and operational changes that accompany implementation.
Critical Experience Requirements:
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
- At least five years managing large-scale IT software or infrastructure projects, provincial or equivalent in scope.
- Located in Canada and legally permitted to work in Canada.
- Availability for full-time work during Saskatchewan business hours.
- Ability to accommodate occasional Saskatchewan travel if required.
Nice to Have:
- Postsecondary degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Five or more years of relevant project-management experience in a busy, multifaceted environment.
- Healthcare project experience.
- Organizational change-management experience.
- Strong project planning, estimation and work breakdown structure skills.
- Knowledge of current IT platforms, methodologies, support processes and information systems.
- Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio skills.
- Strong facilitation, relationship management, problem-solving and plain-language communication.
Compensation:
Hourly contract compensation will be discussed based on experience, engagement structure and alignment with the client’s requirements.
