Project Manager

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to provide oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions for large strategic and complex projects. This role supports high-visibility initiatives with executive-level stakeholders and requires a candidate who can manage diverse stakeholder groups, vendor participation, complex schedules, and significant system integrations.

The ideal candidate will have advanced experience managing complex IT projects, work well under limited supervision, and demonstrate a high degree of creativity, initiative, and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide project management oversight and leadership for large, strategic, and complex IT projects

• Manage projects with high visibility at the executive level

• Coordinate multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams

• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, and budgets

• Lead Agile project ceremonies and practices

• Manage vendor relationships and deliverables

• Write or participate in the development of Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and contracts

• Ensure successful integration with other systems and business processes

• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a Project Manager for IT software or infrastructure projects involving 50 or more team members

• Advanced experience managing Agile projects

• Advanced experience managing scope, schedule, and project budget

• Advanced experience with vendor management

• Experience writing or participating in the development of SOW, RFP, or contracts

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification (highly desired)

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid schedule: Must be onsite from Day 1, two days per week

• No remote-only option

• Local candidates only: Must be located within 90 miles of Lansing, MI at time of submission

• 2nd round interviews may take place in-person
