This is a hands-on delivery role combining project management and Scrum Master responsibilities. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day delivery of assigned automation and intelligent automation initiatives, run Agile ceremonies, coordinate business and technical stakeholders, and maintain clear focus on business case outcomes and benefits.
You will act as the key link between business stakeholders, Business Analysts and AI & Automation delivery teams, ensuring that work is clearly planned, prioritised, tracked and delivered. You will work within the AI & Automation Factory operating model and the governance frameworks and delivery standards defined at programme level.
Success in this role will be measured through effective and predictable project delivery, strong stakeholder engagement, productive Agile team practices, successful business adoption, delivery against agreed business cases and the tracking and realisation of measurable benefits.

You will act as the key link between business stakeholders, Business Analysts and AI & Automation delivery teams, ensuring that work is clearly planned, prioritised, tracked and delivered. You will work within the AI & Automation Factory operating model and the governance frameworks and delivery standards defined at programme level.
- Please note that this is a 12 month contract
- Project and Agile Delivery
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of assigned automation and intelligent automation projects, typically through short delivery cycles and small cross-functional teams.
- Plan and coordinate delivery from project initiation through implementation, adoption and transition into support.
- Act as Scrum Master for assigned initiatives, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
- Work with Business Analysts, technical teams and business owners to maintain clear priorities, delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and actions.
- Identify and help remove delivery blockers, escalating matters through the appropriate programme-level channels where required.
- Use Agile methodology pragmatically, adapting delivery practices to the needs, scale and maturity of each initiative.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination
- Build trusted working relationships with business leaders, operational teams, process owners and technical delivery colleagues.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, aligned expectations and timely decisions.
- Act as the primary day-to-day point of coordination between business stakeholders, Business Analysts and delivery teams.
- Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, project meetings and other collaborative activities.
- Communicate delivery status, emerging risks, dependencies and decisions clearly to stakeholders and programme leadership.
- Business Case Delivery and Benefits Tracking
- Keep project delivery aligned with the agreed business case, scope and intended outcomes.
- Work with business owners and Business Analysts to define measurable benefits and maintain appropriate benefit-tracking arrangements.
- Monitor progress towards expected outcomes and support post-implementation reviews and benefits reporting.
- Escalate material changes that may affect scope, timescales, delivery feasibility or expected benefits.
- Delivery Governance and Reporting
- Operate within the governance frameworks, delivery standards and decision-making structures established at programme level.
- Maintain accurate project plans, delivery updates, risks, issues, dependencies, actions and decisions.
- Provide clear, timely project-level information to support programme reporting and governance forums.
- Use Azure DevOps, Jira or agreed delivery tools to support backlog management, sprint planning, delivery tracking and reporting.
- Support clear and accessible project documentation in Confluence or other agreed collaboration tools.
- Adoption and Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate with business owners and relevant change or adoption colleagues to support readiness, implementation and adoption.
- Capture lessons learned and use retrospectives to improve team ways of working and delivery effectiveness.
- Where relevant, apply continuous improvement principles to support practical process and delivery improvements.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation and coordination skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain alignment across business and technical teams.
- Strong project delivery capability, with practical experience managing plans, priorities, risks, issues, dependencies and actions.
- Experience running Agile ceremonies and supporting teams to deliver through iterative delivery cycles.
- Good technical awareness and the ability to engage confidently with both business stakeholders and technical specialists.
- A practical understanding of AI, automation and digital technologies; direct platform expertise is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable, collaborative and focused on achieving measurable business outcomes.
- Approximately five years’ relevant experience delivering technology, automation, digital, process improvement or business change projects.
- Experience operating as a Project Manager, Scrum Master or in a blended project delivery role.
- Project Management and/or Scrum Master certification, such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM, CSM or PSM, is preferred.
- Practical experience using Azure DevOps, Jira or similar Agile delivery tools for backlog management, sprint planning, delivery tracking and reporting is preferred.
- Experience working with Business Analysts, technical delivery teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting business case delivery and tracking expected benefits.
- Understanding of Agile delivery principles and the ability to apply them pragmatically.
- Due to the requirement to travel to Musgrave and project sites across Ireland, a full driving licence and access to suitable transport for business travel are required.
- Experience delivering Robotic Process Automation, Intelligent Automation, AI or other digital technology initiatives.
- Familiarity with automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Familiarity with workflow automation, intelligent document processing or process mining.
- Experience applying continuous improvement, Lean or process-improvement approaches.
- Experience using Confluence or similar collaboration tools to support documentation and delivery transparency.
