Are you a driven, detail-oriented project management professional ready to take charge of a technically diverse portfolio? We're looking for a Project Manager – Earthing to join our team and lead our Earthing department's projects to success. About the role As Project Manager – Earthing, you'll manage a portfolio of development and design projects. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, own the contractual, financial and programme performance of your projects, and act as the main point of contact for milestone tracking, reporting and invoicing. This role is based within our office in Caerphilly, with travel for meetings, workshops and site visits as required. What you'll be doing Project Management Oversee the end-to-end project portfolio, ensuring adherence to project management frameworks and standards. Monitor timelines, milestones, risks and resources across the department. Prepare and manage the Project Programme(s). Identify cross-project dependencies and mitigate potential conflicts or bottlenecks. Guide project delivery teams to ensure alignment with business unit objectives. Lead and coordinate a project team to deliver on time, to budget and with profitable outcomes. Manage contracts, variations and the invoicing process. Portfolio Reporting Act as the primary point of contact for departmental portfolio updates and financial queries. Facilitate regular portfolio review meetings with project leads, the Head of Department and the Director of Operations. Produce weekly and monthly portfolio performance reports. Develop and maintain dashboards tracking KPIs, project health and milestones. Escalate critical risks, scope changes or timeline slippage with clear impact assessments and recommendations. Financial Control & Invoicing Management Manage and reconcile monthly invoicing status reports across the portfolio. Track project spend against budgets, identify variances and forecast future financial requirements. Coordinate with accounts and clients to ensure timely invoice processing and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate financial governance records for departmental budget reviews. What we're looking for Qualifications A relevant engineering or project management qualification, degree, or equivalent. You’ll be a great fit it you have: Strong IT skills. Excellent communication skills, both internally and with external clients. Strong problem-solving skills, applying reason, logic and pragmatism. Collaborative mindset, contributing ideas to deliver safe, buildable and cost-effective solutions. Effective interpersonal and influencing skills. Highly numerate, with excellent reporting skills.
