Do you want to join a purpose driven company who are making a global impact on society and creating a healthier environment both now and for future generations?
If working with an honest, fair, reputable, responsible and rapidly expanding global organisation is high on your agenda, joining our team could be for you.
Here at Whitefox Technologies we have a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative, growing technology business, where YOU can help lead the safe, on-time and on-budget delivery of our membrane technology projects for ethanol producers as a Project Manager.
This role will see you join a small yet agile and friendly team, working remotely from the Midwest USA. Reporting to the Head of Execution and working closely with our customers and our commercial, engineering, customer support and operations teams, this role is key to the successful delivery of Whitefox customer and internal projects.
To be successful in this role, you will be a structured, hands-on project leader with a solid engineering foundation, strong financial awareness and proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects in an industrial environment.
Join Whitefox in shaping a more efficient industrial future. As part of our team, you’ll turn insight into action, driving smarter processes, solving real-world challenges, and helping deliver advanced membrane solutions that enable industries to produce more with less.
Every improvement you make moves us closer to our 2030 goal of being globally trusted leaders in efficiency and innovation.
The main responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned customer and internal projects – scope, schedule and budget.
- Build and maintain project execution plans, including task lists, schedules and resource loading.
- Act as the primary Whitefox point of contact for customers during project execution, delivering a consistent, positive client experience.
- Identify and manage project risks, with clear mitigation and contingency plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams and keep everyone aligned to project objectives.
- Monitor budgets, track costs and report variances; track invoicing, payments, equipment receipts and project documentation.
- Keep project records accurate in SAP Business ByDesign and issue regular status reports to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Support customer site activities as required (approx. 40% travel), ensuring safe and effective on-site execution.
- Other related duties as assigned
What you’ll bring
- A university degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience within an industrial environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management software and MRP systems – experience with SAP Business ByDesign is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects, budgets and cost controls while meeting demanding deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, sound judgement and a high attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while staying highly collaborative, with clear ownership and accountability for results.
We recognize that experience comes in many forms. If you don’t meet every requirement but are excited about this role, we encourage you to apply.
