IT Project Manager SR


We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong track record in leading and managing technology projects to deliver committed products or results to the client in accordance with established quality, timeline, and budget criteria. The role entails managing project scope and requirements, assigned talent and resources, the schedule, costs, quality, and risks.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor and follow up on project activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Maintain effective and ongoing communication with clients, providing project status updates, reporting, and stakeholder management.
  • Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring the successful delivery of products, services, and solutions according to agreed commitments.
  • Define, document, and manage project scope, requirements, deliverables, and change requests.
  • Manage project resources and ensure optimal allocation to meet project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and project management best practices.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, project metrics, and executive summaries for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project planning, governance, tracking, and control meetings.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Work within both traditional and Agile project management frameworks, including PMI, Scrum, and Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams involved in Cloud-based projects (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).

Required qualifications (+4 YOE)
  • Proven experience managing IT projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and risks.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience preparing executive-level reports and providing regular client updates.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with traditional and Agile project management methodologies (PMI, Scrum, Agile).
  • Experience delivering and managing Cloud projects (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
  • SQL basic knowledge.
  • JIRA tool knowledge.

Preferred qualifications (Nice to have):
  • Project Management certifications (Scrum Master or PMI).
  • Valid U.S. Visa and Passport.

Work schedule
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

Work location - Hybrid model
  • Mexico: CDMX, Monterrey, Aguascalientes.
  • Colombia.

English Level
  • Advanced.
