At Pace, our consultants genuinely care about the impact our work has on our customers and their customers alike. We are ‘problem solvers’ who call on our collective experience, knowledge and skills to support customers to access benefits early.

Our mission is to create environments that thrive for our customers; we enable this by providing transformation, process optimisation, and automation services, all with the aim of enabling our customers to harness human autonomy.

We are reimagining how transformation services are delivered, taking a human-centred approach, and our work is having a material impact on people's lives. If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.

Role:

Supporting one of our key customers in Central London, you will join an energised and focused Programme and Project team delivering critical infrastructure and integration change across a complex enterprise environment.

You will be responsible for delivering an F5 load balancing programme, auditing and optimising existing F5 configurations, and integrating supporting office systems following a merger. You will provide clear governance and stakeholder leadership while protecting business continuity through implementation, transition and handover.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:
  • Define, agree and manage the delivery approach, integrated plan, milestones, dependencies and resources for infrastructure and network workstreams
  • Lead delivery of the F5 load balancing programme, including discovery, design coordination, implementation planning, testing, cutover and service transition
  • Coordinate the audit and optimisation of existing F5 configurations, translating findings into prioritised remediation and improvement activity
  • Manage the integration of supporting office systems following a merger, ensuring delivery is aligned with business, technology and operational priorities
  • Work closely with infrastructure, network, security, architecture, service management and business teams to coordinate delivery across interdependent workstreams
  • Maintain robust project governance, including project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, dependency tracking, status reporting and escalation routes
  • Identify, assess and actively manage delivery risks, issues and dependencies, with particular focus on service resilience and business continuity
  • Coordinate third-party suppliers and internal technical teams, ensuring commitments, deliverables and acceptance criteria are clearly defined and tracked
  • Plan and oversee testing, implementation, cutover, transition to service and operational handover activities
  • Provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders, translating technical delivery detail into business impact, decisions and actions

The successful Project Manager will be able to demonstrate the following experience and capabilities:
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure or Networks Project Manager delivering complex technical change in enterprise environments
  • Demonstrable experience delivering F5 BIG-IP or comparable application delivery and load balancing initiatives
  • Experience coordinating configuration audits, remediation plans and optimisation activity across complex infrastructure estates
  • Experience delivering infrastructure and office technology integration in a merger, acquisition or organisational transformation context
  • Strong project governance discipline, including planning, RAID management, dependency management, reporting and decision tracking
  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to work effectively with senior sponsors, architects, engineers, service owners, business users and third-party suppliers
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure delivery dependencies across networks, security, identity, end-user technology, applications and service management
  • Experienced in planning and controlling testing, cutover, service transition, operational handover and business continuity activity
  • Delivery-focused and comfortable managing multiple parallel workstreams in a fast-paced, ambiguous and technically complex environment
  • Proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused, with the judgement to raise issues early and drive clear ownership through to resolution
Desirable:
  • Legal industry or professional services background
  • Ability to operate within a consulting environment
  • Relevant project management or technical certifications, such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP, ITIL or F5 accreditation

What’s in it for you?

  • An opportunity to join a high-growth, scale-up consulting firm making a material difference in how clients are served.
  • Personal development focus with annual appraisals, development plans, and bi-weekly coaching conversations.
