Project Manager / Infrastructure / Operational Technology

DWS are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of IT and OT infrastructure across large-scale automated distribution centre environments.

You’ll work across infrastructure, networking, warehouse automation, facilities and technology vendors to ensure sites are ready for commissioning and go-live.

Type: 12 Month Max-Term, full time

Salary: Maximum of $175,000 including Superannuation depending on experience

Location: East Melbourne, Victoria (Hybrid, 3 Days pw on-site)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and OT infrastructure, including budgets, schedules and technical delivery
• Manage communications rooms, cabling, UPS and edge compute environments such as Nutanix and VMware
• Deliver Cisco networking and industrial Wi-Fi supporting automation, AGVs and robotics
• Coordinate integration between warehouse automation, WMS/SAP and infrastructure platforms
• Oversee deployment of RF scanners, vehicle-mounted terminals and industrial printers
• Work closely with facilities, electrical, civil and technology teams to ensure site readiness
• Lead testing, commissioning, cutover, go-live and post-launch hypercare
• Manage infrastructure vendors, SLAs, security requirements and OT network segmentation
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• Strong infrastructure project delivery experience within distribution centres, warehouses, manufacturing or other industrial environments.
• Good understanding of enterprise networking, Wi-Fi, compute and physical infrastructure.
• Experience working with OT, automation or material-handling technologies.
• Strong vendor, stakeholder and project management skills.
• Experience delivering complex infrastructure through commissioning and go-live.
