Project Manager - MEP with Grade A KAHRAMA certification

Job Description – Project Manager (Electrical Background with Kahramaa Grade A Certificate) Position: Project Manager – MEP / HVAC Maintenance Qualification Requirements: ● Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. ● Mandatory possession of a valid Kahramaa Grade A Electrical Engineer Certificate. ● Minimum 10–15 years of experience in MEP maintenance and facilities management. ● Valid Qatar Driving Licence. ● Strong knowledge of Qatar regulations, safety requirements, and maintenance standards. Experience Requirements: The candidate shall have proven experience in: ● Management of large-scale HVAC preventive and corrective maintenance contracts. ● Operation and maintenance of commercial, industrial, and utility facilities. ● Electrical systems including LV panels, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, lighting systems, and power distribution. ● Mechanical systems such as chillers, package units, split ACs, VRF systems, ventilation systems, pumps, and associated controls. ● Coordination of multidisciplinary maintenance teams including HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, supervisors, and subcontractors. ● Contract administration and client relationship management. ● Preparation of maintenance plans, schedules, manpower deployment, and resource allocation. ● Handling emergency breakdowns and ensuring timely restoration of services. ● Budget control, cost monitoring, and performance reporting. Key Responsibilities: ● Lead and manage the execution of MEP maintenance projects in accordance with contractual requirements. ● Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, and associated building systems. ● Ensure all corrective maintenance activities are completed within the stipulated response and resolution times. ● Plan and allocate manpower, tools, vehicles, and materials to achieve operational efficiency. ● Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution. ● Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications. ● Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and maintenance procedures. ● Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. ● Prepare monthly progress reports, KPI reports, invoices, and management presentations. ● Monitor spare parts consumption and coordinate procurement requirements. ● Conduct regular site inspections and technical audits to maintain service quality. ● Lead team meetings, provide technical guidance, and support staff development. ● Ensure compliance with all Kahramaa, local authority, and client requirements. Skills Required: ● Strong leadership and team management skills. ● Proficiency in MS Office applications and CMMS maintenance software. ● Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites simultaneously. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. ● Knowledge of contractual obligations, KPIs, and SLA management.
