Show job description

Join CoolIT, an Ecolab Company, a global leader in Direct Liquid Cooling technology for data centers, supercomputers, and high-performance computing environments.

In this role, you will report into the Product organization and be responsible for translating approved project scope into a structured execution plan. You will develop and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), define and coordinate work packages, maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), manage schedule baselines, and provide schedule impact and recovery analysis. Functional teams remain accountable for their technical deliverables, estimates and resource commitments; this role integrates those inputs into a credible project plan and drives execution against it.

What’s in it For You

  • Day 1 Coverage: Employer-paid comprehensive benefits, including dental, prescription drug, vision, paramedical coverage, and a $1,000 annual Flexible Spending Account.
  • RRSP: 2% employer-sponsored contribution.
  • Enjoy three weeks of vacation, six flex days, and a one-week paid company-wide holiday shutdown.
  • $1,000 Annual professional development allowance to support your ongoing learning, skill development, and career growth.
  • Dress for your day in a casual, professional environment.
  • Work in a hybrid environment.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain a deliverable-based Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) aligned with approved project scope and release objectives.
  • Work with functional owners to define executable work packages, including deliverables, activities, owners, estimates, assumptions, dependencies, milestones and completion criteria.
  • Develop, baseline and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across engineering, supply chain, prototype builds, qualifications and manufacturing readiness.
  • Validate schedule logic and integration by identifying missing activities, open dependencies, unsupported dates, and conflicting cross-functional commitments.
  • Monitor progress against the approved schedule baseline and maintain an evidence-based project forecast without masking schedule variance through uncontrolled baseline changes.
  • Develop schedule recovery proposals with functional owners, including re-sequencing, parallel execution, scope or milestone trade-offs, and escalation options.
  • Facilitate project cross functional alignment and execution reviews focused on commitments, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions and recovery actions.
  • Maintain project actions, risks, assumptions, issues, decisions and change records required to support schedule execution and traceability.
  • Support product sustaining activities

Position Details

  • Occasional travel may be required to support supplier, manufacturing or other project activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management, project planning or project controls experience in hardware product development, NPI, manufacturing or another complex technical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing a deliverable-based WBS and converting scope into integrated, executable work packages.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule with logic-linked cross-functional dependencies and milestones.
  • Practical experience establishing and controlling schedule baselines, assessing variance, maintaining forecasts, and analyzing the impact of change.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform schedule impact and recovery analysis and present practical options, assumptions and trade-offs.
  • Experience coordinating engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, test and product-release activities.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to challenge unsupported dates and assumptions constructively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience planning complex products development in an NPI or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience integrating schedules across product development, supplier readiness, prototype builds, verification and manufacturing release.
  • Experience with configuration-controlled product development and change processes using PLM and ERP systems such as Arena and NetSuite.
  • Experience supporting schedule recovery on projects with incomplete information, competing priorities or constrained resources.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is an asset.
  • Experience working with global engineering, manufacturing, suppliers or operations teams.

We thank every candidate in advance; however, we will contact only those selected for an interview. Please note: immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
