Project Manager (Part-Time) - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

About the Role
SummitNext is looking for a part-time Project Manager based in Ho Chi Minh City on behalf of our client. You'll be the client's presence on the ground for an ongoing project, helping to plan and coordinate project activities locally and keep work on track. Over time, you'll become a key point of contact for the client's customers, handling client communication and the delivery of project reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities on the ground in Ho Chi Minh City
• Work with the project team to keep tasks, timelines and deliverables on track
• Monitor project progress and flag issues or risks to the Project Lead early
• Prepare and deliver project reports to clients
• Act as a point of contact for clients, handling questions, updates and follow-ups
• Keep accurate project records and documentation
• Attend face-to-face meetings or on-site activities when needed

Requirements

• Based in Vietnam, preferably Ho Chi Minh City, and able to travel to HCMC when required
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) are essential
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management or a client-facing role
• Experience in research or agency environments is a strong advantage
• Experience in client service or sales is an advantage
• Well organized and able to manage tasks and deadlines independently
• Comfortable working flexibly and reporting remotely to a regional lead

Working Arrangement

• Part-time, around 2–3 hours a day, with no fixed hours
• Mix of remote work and face-to-face meetings or on-site activities

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Candidates in other Vietnamese cities are welcome if able to travel to HCMC when needed.
Employment type: Part-time, about 2–3 hours a day, flexible hours
Work arrangement: Hybrid, about 60% remote and 40% face-to-face
Salary: 140,000 VND per hour (approximately 7,700,000 VND per month based on 2–3 hours a day)
Start date: Immediate
Contract: Initial 1 month, with possible extension
Reports to: Client's Project Lead
