Job Description Apply now Project Manager (Remote - US) Job Location (Short): Calgary, Canada Workplace Type: Remote Req Id: 2605 Responsibilities Octave is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale software implementations within our Public Safety division. This individual would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project implementation, customer relationship, and Reference ability. · Serve as primary Ocatve representative to customer partners · Effectively managing projects to deliver on time, on cost and according to client quality expectations · Development of project plans, including scope, budget, deliverables, schedule and project team responsibilities in order to accomplish project objectives · Coordinating work and providing instructions, advice, leadership and guidance to a diverse group of team members · Reviewing work in progress and assessing completed work for accuracy, required results and desired quality · Ensuring timely and accurate communication between project team members, management and customers · Facilitating the resolution of issues and escalations · Participation in project scoping activities, including producing and/or validating LOEs and SOWs · Preparing customer-facing and internal status and financial reporting · Other duties as assigned Education / Qualifications · A bachelor's degree, or commensurate, documented experience in a role with similar responsibilities · PMI PMP or equivalent certification is required · Minimum 5 years project management experience implementing large software implementations · Prior experience with managing complex technical projects and programs – preferably in Public Safety · Strong written and oral communication and critical thinking skills · Intermediate to senior level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project proficiency · A self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented mindset · An eager, passionate, and professional owner of all aspects of the project management craft · An open-minded, embracer of diversity of thought and cultivating PMO team-culture #LI-SK1 #LI-Remote About Octave Octave provides mission-critical software that empowers organizations to make informed decisions across every stage of the asset lifecycle — Design, Build, Operate and Protect — where performance, safety, and reliability are non-negotiable and failure is not an option.
