SIGRA | Full-time | Any SIGRA location | Partial remote via MS Teams | Start by agreement
A fabrication project needs more than a finished drawing. It needs someone who keeps the workshop, site teams, customer and commercial commitments moving together.
At SIGRA, you will lead projects involving steel, aluminium and technical insulation for offshore installations, shipyards and process plants. The work can include structural steel, welding, industrial piping, insulation and cladding, with specialists across the group supporting delivery. Projects include structural steel fabrication and welding, as well as industrial piping prefabrication and on-site installation, using carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex/super duplex steel.
What you will do
-Own fabrication projects from contract to delivery, with responsibility for schedule, budget and variation orders.
-Coordinate welding, fitting, insulation and piping teams, and maintain close contact with operators, yards and EPC contractors.
-Follow up QHSE, NORSOK requirements and client specifications, including inspection and quality plans, material traceability and weld documentation.
-Report progress to group management and develop new opportunities within existing customer relationships.
What you bring
-An engineering degree is required, preferably in mechanical, structural or civil engineering.
-3–10 years of project management experience in structural steel, offshore fabrication or maritime construction.
-Familiarity with EN 1090, NORSOK M-101, and onshore and offshore quality requirements. Experience with WPS/PQR and ISO 3834-2 is an advantage. Knowledge of technical insulation for process pipes in yards and industrial plants is relevant.
-You communicate well with customers, understand commercial requirements, and speak Norwegian and English fluently.
Why SIGRA
Work close to fabrication and installation teams, with access to expertise beyond a single material or discipline. We offer competitive salary, pension and benefits. You can work from any of SIGRA’s locations, with some remote work through MS Teams. Travel between locations and to customers is part of the role.
