SIGRA | Full-time | Any SIGRA location | Partial remote via MS Teams | Start by agreement

A piping system has to suit the medium, the operating conditions and the installation. Bringing those requirements together takes technical judgement and disciplined project management.

As Project Manager — Thermoplastics at SIGRA, you will lead fabrication and installation projects involving thermoplastic piping in PE, PP and PVDF, alongside GRE and other composite components. Projects serve offshore installations and vessels, aquaculture companies, and municipal water and wastewater organisations, supported by in-house PE pipe production.

What you will do

-Own project scope, schedule, budget and quality from planning through fabrication and installation.

-Coordinate piping and component deliveries with customers and SIGRA sister companies.

-Follow up QHSE, client specifications, inspection and quality plans, and material certification packages.

-Manage changes, maintain customer relationships and report project status to group management.

What you bring

-An engineering degree is required. Polymer, mechanical, process or chemical engineering is particularly relevant.

-Ideally 3–10 years of project management experience in plastics fabrication, offshore, aquaculture or process industry.

-Knowledge of thermoplastics and composite piping is an advantage, including fusion welding for thermoplastic systems and adhesive bonding or laminated joints for composite systems. Familiarity with Equinor TR3016, offshore piping standards, NS 9416 or municipal water and wastewater is also useful.

-Commercial understanding, relevant industry knowledge and fluency in Norwegian and English.
