Metso is a frontrunner in sustainable technologies, end-to-end solutions and services for the aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining industries globally. We improve our customers’ energy and water efficiency, increase their productivity, and reduce environmental risks with our product and service expertise. We are the partner for positive change.
Metso is headquartered in Espoo, Finland. At the end of 2025 Metso had close to 18,000 employees in around 50 countries, and sales in 2025 were about EUR 5.3 billion. Metso is listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki.
Would you be our new Project Quality Manager?
We are looking for a Project Quality Manager to join Metso’s international project organization. In this role, you will ensure that project quality activities are planned, executed and followed up according to contractual requirements, customer expectations and established business processes. You will act as the main quality contact within assigned projects, working closely with Project Managers and supported by a wider quality organization consisting of Quality Leads and other quality professionals.
Your responsibilities include coordinating project quality activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that inspections, audits and customer reporting are carried out effectively and that key project documentation remains up to date. In addition, you will manage quality risks, deviations and corrective actions, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that lessons learned are captured and shared across projects.
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position and you will be employed by Biisoni. There is a good possibility for continuation after the initial contract period. The role is based at our Espoo office, and we offer a flexible hybrid working model with the possibility to work remotely a few days per week.
What are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you have at least five years of experience in project quality management or a similar quality-focused project role. You have strong auditing experience and ideally an ISO 9001 auditor certification or equivalent background. Experience from industrial, engineering, process, energy or plant projects will help you succeed in the role. As the role involves close collaboration with Finnish customers in an international project environment, fluent Finnish and English skills are required.
As a person, we hope to find someone who can manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and is able to plan, schedule, coordinate and solve problems effectively. You will work with various stakeholders each day and therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important in this role. We value a proactive approach and the confidence to ask questions when needed. You are able to perform well under pressure and have a relaxed and flexible professional mindset.
Why us?
We value our dedicated and driven professionals. As an important part of our highly motivated and skilled team, you contribute directly to our shared success. We offer you an exciting opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders, supported by an open-minded, international, and friendly community of experts. Once you have a solid grasp of the job, you will have the flexibility to work partly remotely, along with excellent opportunities to develop your professional skills and knowledge in a cutting-edge company at the forefront of its industry. We're committed to your success and will provide you with comprehensive onboarding and a supportive environment where you can truly thrive.
