Responsibilities Include Determines taxability and identifies issues for a book of clients Drives down taxable value through our unique approach to valuation and negotiation Completes independent data analysis that allows others to analyze results and determine scope/direction of appeals Provides recommendations to management for course appeal recommendations and/or next steps of a project or appeal Provides accurate analysis and timely filing of renditions, notices, appeals, and bills Communicates with taxing authorities and builds relationships with tax assessors Communications with clients and others outside the organization to obtain information and other valuation-based documentation Reviews and approves tax bills; prepares Tax Savings Reports for clients Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field preferred 1-3 years of previous relevant business personal property experience working with books of business across Texas.
