Proposal Writer

Position Summary:

EXELISIS is seeking a Scientist/Engineer with experience in Proposal Writing to collaborate with our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in writing and coordinating EU-funded Proposals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative ideas and lead European research proposals through all stages of proposal writing.
• Ιdentify new clients, present the company's services and capabilities and assess potential collaborations.
• Develop business plans tailored to the clients’ needs.

Essential Requirements:

1. Background in a STEM field, such as materials science, chemistry, mechanical or chemical engineering, data science.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in writing research proposals for funding.
3. Experience in building and coordinating consortia.
4. Excellent English.

Desired Requirements:

• A postgraduate degree in a relevant field will be appreciated.
• Strong networking skills and established connections within the European research community.
• Knowledge of intellectual property rights and patent processes.
• Proficiency in another European language.

Skills required for the position:

1. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
2. Strong communication and presentation skills.
3. Ability to work independently and tackle complex, multidisciplinary challenges.
