Full-Time | 3–4 Days or 9-Day Fortnight Considered | Hybrid Flexibility
Looking for somewhere you can do great work with genuinely good people?Therapea Health is seeking an experienced General Registered Psychologist to join our warm, friendly and collaborative multidisciplinary team in Werribee.
We're looking for a capable, kind and grounded psychologist who takes genuine pride in making a meaningful difference in people's lives. Someone who brings professional maturity, sound clinical judgement and perspective to their work, is confident without being ego-driven, and values being part of a supportive, cohesive team.
If you're looking for a workplace where excellent clinical care, reasonable expectations and a positive team culture go hand in hand, we'd love to meet you.
A workplace where people matterWe're proud of the culture we've created at Therapea Health – a friendly, down-to-earth team of psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and dedicated administrators who genuinely enjoy working together.
We're professional without being corporate, relaxed without compromising standards, and collaborative without unnecessary hierarchy or ego.
Our guiding values are Respect, Excellence, Integrity, Flexibility and Client-Centred Care, and we value colleagues who are approachable, generous with their knowledge and willing to support one another.
Competitive remuneration and benefitsWe offer a rewarding employment package designed to support professional satisfaction, ongoing development and work-life balance.
- $55–$60 per hour base salary, depending on experience and clinical capabilities
- 12% employer superannuation, paid in addition to base salary
- Annual performance-based bonuses
- Up to $2,500 per annum towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD), pro rata for part-time employees
- Realistic clinical KPIs, based on approximately 5.5 billable hours per day
- Comprehensive administration support, with all appointment scheduling, client bookings, enquiries and routine practice administration managed by our dedicated team
- Flexible working arrangements, including work-from-home opportunities for clinicians working four or more days per week
We want our psychologists to focus on providing excellent clinical care, without the additional burden of managing their own appointments or day-to-day practice administration.
About the roleThe position offers a rewarding combination of:
- Individual psychological therapy across a diverse range of presentations
- Standardised psychological and diagnostic assessments, including autism and ADHD
- Clinical formulation, report writing and recommendations
- Telehealth consultations where clinically appropriate
- Opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration and informal knowledge-sharing with less-experienced colleagues
Our clients include children, adolescents and adults accessing services through Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, DVA, Victims of Crime and private funding.
We recognise that experienced psychologists bring different strengths and interests, and we're keen to develop a caseload that reflects your clinical expertise and professional interests.
The psychologist we're hoping to findClinical competence is essential, but who you are and how you work with people matter just as much to us.
We're particularly interested in someone who:
- Is warm, personable, kind and humble, with a genuine interest in helping people achieve meaningful change
- Brings professional maturity, sound judgement and a balanced perspective to clinical practice
- Is confident and capable, while remaining reflective, open-minded and willing to learn
- Enjoys collaboration and values the expertise and contributions of others
- Demonstrates strong clinical reasoning and a commitment to evidence-based psychological practice
- Takes a respectful, neuro-affirming and individualised approach, recognising both the strengths and functional challenges experienced by neurodivergent clients
- Is reliable, organised and comfortable exercising professional autonomy
- Contributes positively to a friendly, supportive and professional workplace
Essential:
- General Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention
- Strong clinical formulation, communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
Highly regarded, but not essential:
- Experience conducting autism and/or ADHD assessments
- Familiarity with MIGDAS-2 or other recognised diagnostic assessment tools
- Experience treating work-related psychological injuries through WorkCover
- Experience working with NDIS, DVA, Victims of Crime or other compensable funding arrangements
- Experience supporting clients with complex presentations or co-occurring conditions
You don't need to tick every box. We're more interested in finding an excellent psychologist who shares our values and will become a valued, long-term member of our team.
Full-time opportunity with genuine flexibilityWe're advertising this position as full-time, but welcome applications from experienced psychologists seeking alternative arrangements.
We're happy to consider:
- Full-time: Five days per week, including one day working from home
- Nine-day fortnight: A regular rostered day off each fortnight
- Four days per week: Ideally three days in-clinic and one day working from home
- Three days per week: For an exceptional candidate seeking a smaller commitment
Working from home would primarily involve telehealth consultations, report writing and other clinically appropriate work, and is available for arrangements of four or more days per week.
Our preference is to establish a regular in-clinic presence that supports client continuity and team collaboration, while offering flexibility where practical.
Finding the right person matters more to us than filling a particular roster.
