Role Description The Psychology Intern role is a remote internship focused on building applied skills in mental health and psychological practice. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with intake and screening processes, supporting online therapy and mental health programs under supervision, and participating in psychological assessments and case discussions as appropriate to training level. The intern will help prepare educational materials, contribute to workshops and group sessions, and engage in research or content development related to mental health and psychology education. The role also involves maintaining accurate and confidential records, collaborating with supervisors and peers, and attending regular training sessions and supervision meetings. Interns are expected to demonstrate professional ethics, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to learning in a structured, supportive environment.


Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge in Psychology and Mental Health, with an interest in practical application in community settings.
  • Basic understanding or coursework in Psychological Testing and assessment methods, with willingness to learn and work under supervision.
  • Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and active listening in diverse, sensitive situations.
  • Interest or experience in Education, especially creating or delivering psychology-related learning materials, workshops, or outreach.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s program in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and handle responsibilities with reliability and accountability.
  • Respect for confidentiality, ethical guidelines, and evidence-based mental health practices.
  • Cultural humility and openness to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities.
