Mission ​The role is for a proactive part-time video editor who can transform raw long-form and short-form footage into polished content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube. The editor will work with minimal direction to edit, optimize, repurpose, and package content for different platforms. Responsibilities include creating compelling hooks and thumbnails, analyzing performance, and suggesting creative and strategic improvements. The ideal candidate combines strong editing skills with marketing knowledge, creator-minded thinking, independence, and data-informed decision-making. Although the role starts part-time, it is highly likely to become full-time quickly due to the expected volume of content. Key Responsibilities ​Your daily tasks will vary, giving you room to learn, grow, and strengthen your skills while supporting the team with excellence. ​Receive raw LF and SF video files and produce polished edits for Instagram posts/reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube long-form. ​Craft attention-grabbing hooks and thumbnail concepts designed to improve click-through and retention. ​Create platform-optimized edits (format, duration, pacing) for each destination (IG, YT Shorts, YT LF). ​Add captions/subtitles, lower-thirds, and simple motion graphics to improve accessibility and retention. ​Perform audio cleanup, color correction, and basic sound design to ensure professional output. ​Recycle, optimize, and repurpose our extensive library of saved and posted content to make it perform better without constant direction. ​Design simple graphics or thumbnails when needed (graphic design skills are a definite advantage). ​Export and deliver final files in required formats and upload/prep assets for publishing. ​Maintain an organized content library and naming convention for raw and edited assets. ​Use file-transfer tools (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or similar) to receive/send large files reliably. ​Propose creative tests and give clear, confident recommendations to improve content performance. ​Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate progress proactively. ​Work independently with minimal day-to-day direction and hands-on "managing" while aligning with the creator's core schedule. Qualifications ​ Years of Experience: 2+ years of social media editing with a highly qualified and strong portfolio ​ CRM Tool: Not required ​ Softwares: Expert Level in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Canva; Google Drive/Dropbox/WeTransfer for file transfer ​ Industry Knowledge Required: Social media video production, content repurposing, digital marketing for short- and long-form content, with an interest or excitement for the men's health and human performance niche. Skills & Competencies ​Strong storytelling and pacing for both long-form and short-form video ​Ability to craft attention-grabbing hooks and thumbnail concepts with a marketing mindset ​Basic graphic design and motion-graphics capability ​Proactive, independent, highly confident in your abilities, and eager to produce your best work ​Excellent communication, attention to detail, and time-management skills ​Familiarity with platform specs, trends, and performance optimization (IG, YouTube Shorts, YT LF) ​Comfortable handling large video files and organizing media assets ​Capable of operating independently with very minimal direction and comfortable presenting bold recommendations or ideas to improve the content Technical Requirements ​Own PC or laptop ​Reliable internet connection (wired connection recommended) ​Noise-cancelling headset and a quiet, professional workspace ​Access to professional video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve) ​External storage or backup solution for large raw video files ​Ability to use file-transfer services (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer) for large uploads/download Position Overview Working Hours: Part-time (flexible hours, approx. 4 hours/day, overlapping with the client's workday of 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM Beirut Time). High potential to transition to Full-time (8 hours/day) very quickly based on content volume.
