PTE Trainer

We are an early-stage edtech startup offering personalized online IELTS classes to students pursuing a career abroad or professionals looking for migrating to foreign countries. The classes are customized to the student’s needs and goals with a strong focus on individual attention and group compatibility.

We enable students to achieve higher bands through lower student-tutor ratios, casual organizational culture, and by providing a fun and enjoyable learning experience.

We are a small team based in Kochi and we are currently expanding to offer PTE Classes and are looking for a passionate and driven PTE teacher to join our team.

Since our team is working fully remote, you can apply and work from anywhere!

What will you be doing:

• Deliver exceptional PTE Classes and constructive feedback for students.

• Be accountable for the students assigned to you - their grades, attendance, and activeness during classes.

• Building a curriculum and training plan for your students.

• Active participation in team meetings and timely reporting of students' performance.

• Other ad-hoc activities like hosting internal trainings for new hires and creating knowledge base articles.

What are we looking for:

• Good Communication Skills - we strive on keeping an informal classroom experience, so you should be able to keep the classes interactive and engaging.

• Problem-solving - you should be able to identify students' weaknesses and suggest the right approaches to improve their band scores.

• Empathetic - you might have students from varying English language levels and age groups, so you should be able to tailor your classes to suit them

• Good command of English and Malayalam.

• Passed PTE with good scores or have experience teaching PTE.

• If you have attempted PTE exam, we do not require prior experience (previous experience taking tuitions, TEFL/TESOL, or any other role where you have demonstrated these skills is considered a plus point)
