INNEDE Edition is an independent publishing house with a growing international catalogue of books in several languages, including educational books, visual language-learning titles, children’s books, cultural guides and other publishing projects.
We are looking for a Publishing Sales Representative to help develop new sales opportunities and commercial partnerships for our catalogue.
This is a remote, contract-based role with compensation primarily linked to results and commissions generated through sales or commercial agreements.
Responsibilities
• Identify and contact potential customers and partners, including schools, teachers, libraries, bookstores, educational organisations, distributors and other relevant institutions.
• Present and promote the INNEDE Edition catalogue to potential buyers and partners.
• Develop new commercial relationships in Sweden and internationally.
• Explore opportunities for bulk orders, institutional sales and distribution.
• Identify potential partners for foreign-language editions, licensing and publishing rights.
• Follow up with interested contacts and help convert opportunities into sales or commercial agreements.
• Provide basic updates on leads, prospects and completed sales.
Profile
We are looking for someone who is independent, proactive and comfortable developing new business relationships.
Experience in sales, publishing, education, business development or related fields is welcome, but strong communication skills, initiative and the ability to build relationships are equally important.
Good English is important. Knowledge of Swedish, Italian, French, Spanish or other languages is an advantage.
What we offer
INNEDE Edition already has an established catalogue, published titles, promotional materials, websites and international marketplace presence.
The representative will therefore not be starting from zero, but will work with an existing portfolio of books and publishing projects.
The collaboration is flexible and remote.
Compensation is primarily commission-based and linked to sales, commercial agreements or business opportunities generated by the representative.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can open doors to schools, libraries, educational organisations, bookstores, distributors and international publishing partners.
