Purchaser: Chemicals, Raw Materials & Indirect Procurement

Are you an experienced procurement professional with a background in chemicals, coatings, or industrial manufacturing? @CromologySpain are looking for a Purchaser to lead both direct and indirect procurement activities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for sourcing key raw materials, packaging, CAPEX, MRO, logistics, and service contracts while ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and supplier performance.

What you'll do

✔ Lead sourcing and supplier management for raw materials, packaging, and indirect categories
✔ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and strategic agreements
✔ Drive cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives
✔ Manage supplier risk, compliance, and performance
✔ Partner with R&D, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
✔ Lead and develop the Purchasing team

What we're looking for

✅ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
✅ 7–10 years of procurement experience, including leadership responsibilities

✅ Fluent Spanush and English

✅ Experience in coatings, chemicals, or process manufacturing environments
✅ Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills
✅ Knowledge of REACH, GHS, ISO standards, and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
✅ Experience with CAPEX sourcing and service contract negotiations

Location & Working Model

📍 Based in Les Franqueses del Vallès (Barcelona).

🏠 Hybrid model with up to 6 remote working days per month.

🚗 Own vehicle is essential, as our facilities are not easily accessible by public transport.
