At A-GOS, we're building an autonomous AI-powered platform designed to transform how the global shipping industry manages catering, inventory, and procurement.

We're a VC-backed technology startup with an international team of 10, tackling complex engineering challenges involving artificial intelligence, mathematical optimization, real-world operational data, and intelligent automation.

We're looking for a motivated Python & AI Engineering Intern who wants to go beyond tutorials and academic assignments to contribute to a real, evolving technology product.

You won't just learn how software works. You'll help build it.

What You'll Work On

• Develop Python scripts, tools, and backend functionality for our AI-powered platform.
• Support development and integration of REST APIs and backend services.
• Work with real-world operational data, databases, and automated processing pipelines.
• Assist with AI-powered workflows, data validation, and intelligent automation.
• Write, test, debug, and improve Python code alongside our engineering team.
• Explore new AI technologies and contribute ideas to ongoing product development.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.

Who We're Looking For

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field.
• Good foundational knowledge of Python.
• Basic understanding of programming principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Interest in backend development, APIs, and AI technologies.
• Comfortable using modern AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
• Good English communication skills.
• Curious, proactive, independent, and eager to learn.

No professional experience required. Personal projects, GitHub repositories, university assignments, and genuine technical curiosity matter more to us than previous job titles.

• PostgreSQL
• Pandas or NumPy
• REST API development
• Docker
• Pytest and automated testing
• Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI services
