About the role Mirai RiskTech is looking for a Python Analyst to join our growing Consulting team. This role will support operations across both the U.S. and Mexico, contributing to client projects, data processing initiatives, automation solutions, and technology consulting activities. Reporting to the Consulting Supervisor, the Junior Python Analyst will work closely with functional and technical experts to deliver high-quality solutions and support business requirements. Your profile Key Responsibilities In the initial stage, you will receive training from our Technology and Finance teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of our consulting services, business processes, and financial industry practices. After completing the onboarding and training process, you will participate in consulting projects with leading banking and financial institutions in Mexico and the United States. You will: Develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based solutions to support consulting and business initiatives. Analyze, manipulate, and validate large datasets to ensure data quality and consistency. Design and execute data transformation and automation processes. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand client requirements and propose efficient solutions. Work with relational databases and write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Assist in code migration, system enhancements, and performance optimization initiatives. Generate technical documentation and project deliverables according to quality standards. Work with technologies such as Python, Power BI, and other data analytics tools. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the consulting team Qualifications We are looking for a motivated Python Analyst with a strong technical foundation in Python and a desire to continue growing in a consulting environment. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. Approximately 1 year of professional experience working with Python. Strong proficiency in Python programming, including scripting, automation, and data manipulation. Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. English proficiency (B2+). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and prioritization abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and multicultural teams. Eagerness to learn about technology, financial services, and consulting methodologies. Preferred Profile We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical professional with strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for Python development and database management. The ideal candidate is someone who: Demonstrates strong hands-on experience with Python, including developing scripts, automating processes, optimizing workflows, and building data-driven solutions. Has solid experience working with relational databases, writing and optimizing SQL queries, managing data structures, and ensuring data integrity across systems. Possesses a strong understanding of data manipulation, data validation, and database concepts, with the ability to analyze large datasets and deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Analytical thinking applies to identifying technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and proposing efficient solutions that support business and client requirements. Demonstrates the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business teams in a dynamic consulting environment. Location Mexico-based remote position with occasional on-site activities depending on project schedules and business requirements. Why us?
