Python Developer

Job Title: Python Developer Location: Manhattan, New York (Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days Onsite from Day 1) Experience: 5–6 Years We are hiring a Python Developer for a leading Hedge Fund client based in Manhattan, NY . We are looking for a highly skilled, street-smart developer with strong Python and SQL expertise who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven financial environment. Required Skills: 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Python development. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (mandatory). Experience building backend applications, data pipelines, and working with large datasets. Strong understanding of data modeling and database concepts. Experience using LLMs/AI tools to improve development productivity. Working knowledge of C# (approximately 20–30% of the role). Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Experience working in financial services, capital markets, trading platforms, or hedge funds . Experience with ABF (Analytical Base Table) projects or similar data-centric initiatives is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices. Flexible work from home options available. Compensation: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
