Python Developer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join the team within the Development Tooling department .

In this role, you will design and develop a Python-based front-end solution for Box.com, helping internal users securely and efficiently manage content. Once the Box.com solution is established, you will also contribute to other applications managed by the BB8 team, including collaboration and portfolio management tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop a Python-based front-end solution for Box.com integrations
• Work with APIs and SaaS platforms
• Build intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly internal tooling
• Ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
• Support internal users and continuously improve the platform
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to other enterprise applications managed by the BB8 team

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with or strong interest in front-end development using Python frameworks
• Hands-on experience with APIs / REST APIs
• Experience with SaaS integrations
• Understanding of security and compliance
• Knowledge of usability and accessibility principles
• Familiarity with DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Proactive mindset and ability to take ownership

Nice to Have

• Experience with Box.com / Box APIs
• Experience with Confluence, Jira Align, AURA, or similar enterprise platforms
• Experience with OAuth, SSO, or role-based access control
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments
• Experience working in enterprise development tooling environments
