Your Project

You will join the OS Factory product as a Python & DevOps Engineer. The platform is designed to accelerate the delivery of hardened operating system images across major public cloud providers, enabling engineering teams to securely manage the end-to-end lifecycle of OS images through self-service capabilities.

The hardened OS images play a critical role in securing both enterprise and digital product workloads, supporting highly sensitive environments that must comply with strict regulatory standards and certifications such as HITRUST and the ISO 27000 family. The platform is built to provide a stable, secure, reliable, and continuously updated operating system landscape.

The OS Factory is a highly automated, scalable, and self-service solution that supports multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, and other specialized cloud providers.

Your Role

As a Python & DevOps Engineer, you will play a key engineering role in building and evolving the Hardened OS Factory platform while fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and extensible software solutions.
  • Building and enhancing platform components and services to support developer self-service capabilities.
  • Collaborating with Platform Owners to define requirements, prioritize development activities, and continuously improve the platform experience.
  • Integrating software solutions with existing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Developing dynamic GitLab CI/CD pipelines using Python.
  • Designing and implementing serverless, event-driven architectures across cloud platforms.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and testing processes.
  • Supporting platform operations, reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contributing to a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation, automation, and platform enablement.

Your Profile

We're looking for a candidate with

  • Experience working with major cloud providers, such as AWS (nice to have experience with Azure and GCP)

  • Strong hands-on experience in Python development.

  • Knowledge of serverless and event-driven architecture patterns.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools including Terraform and Ansible.

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, particularly with GitLab CI/CD.

  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.

  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset

  • Experience working in large-scale, cloud-native, highly automated environments is highly desirable.
  • Nice to Have

    Relevant certifications are considered a plus, including

    • AWS Certifications
    • Kubernetes Certifications (CKA/CKAD or equivalent)
