  • Seeking a skilled Python & Snowflake Developer with experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance data environments to support, enhance, and maintain enterprise data platforms.
  • Candidate should have strong programming skills in Python, hands-on Snowflake experience, and a solid understanding of insurance data domains such as policy, claims, underwriting, exposure, and financial reporting. The role focuses on data support, troubleshooting, automation, data quality, and delivery of reliable data solutions.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain data solutions using Python and Snowflake.
  • Support P&C insurance data platforms, including policy, claims, billing, underwriting, and exposure datasets.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.
  • Develop Python scripts for data extraction, processing, automation, and operational support.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake objects.
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and root-cause investigation for data issues.
  • Monitor data pipelines and resolve production incidents related to data availability, quality, and accuracy.
  • Create automated checks and controls to improve data quality and reliability.
  • Work with business users, analysts, actuaries, and technology teams to understand data requirements.
  • Support reporting and analytics teams by delivering accurate and timely datasets.
  • Perform data profiling, mapping, and validation across source and target systems.
  • Troubleshoot ETL/ELT failures and coordinate fixes with upstream/downstream teams.
  • Document data processes, technical solutions, and support procedures.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in data engineering, application support, or analytics development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python development for data processing and automation.
  • Strong experience with Snowflake data warehouse development and support.
  • Advanced SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning, and data transformations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms and production environments.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration patterns.
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
