About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Q-SYS Engineer to support complex Audio-Visual (AV) projects. This is a fractional, part-time opportunity with flexible working hours, making it possible to combine the role with existing full-time employment or other projects.

The working schedule is flexible, with the expectation of maintaining reasonable working-hour overlap and collaboration with the client's team.

There is also potential for this engagement to transition into a full-time position in the future, depending on project needs and mutual satisfaction with the cooperation.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage Q-SYS Core systems for complex AV projects.
• Design, implement, and maintain audio and video routing solutions.
• Work with AV networking infrastructure, including VLANs, multicast, and QoS.
• Ensure reliable integration and performance of Q-SYS-based systems.
• Collaborate with the client's technical team on project requirements and implementation.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of commercial experience as a Q-SYS Engineer.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Q-SYS in complex projects.
• Practical experience with Q-SYS Core configuration.
• Good understanding of audio and video routing.
• Solid knowledge of AV networking concepts, including VLANs, multicast, and QoS.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Lua scripting within Q-SYS.
• Knowledge of developing Q-SYS plugins.
• Experience integrating Q-SYS with third-party systems and platforms.
