QA ANALYST

Job Description This is a remote position. The QA Analyst will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to test software applications, identify defects, and help ensure high-quality product releases. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build a career in software quality assurance and testing. Key Responsibilities Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and API applications. Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution. Review business requirements and user stories to understand testing needs. Assist in developing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support. Validate bug fixes and verify application functionality before release. Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve quality issues. Maintain accurate testing documentation and test execution reports. Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or bootcamps included). Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Technical Skills Defect tracking and reporting Functional and regression testing Basic understanding of API testing (Postman preferred) Familiarity with SQL fundamentals (preferred) Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
