QA Analyst/Automation Engineer (Remote US)

Description Uptime.com is a comprehensive monitoring solution that provides peace of mind to thousands of customers. Were looking for a QA Analyst, ideally with experience in QA automation. The company is completely distributed from the start and we have a strong all-remote engineering team. We're looking for a motivated, self-driven individual who can get things done with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of our product Collaborate with developers and product owners to identify and report defects and ensure timely resolution Analyze requirements, user stories, and specifications to provide input on functional requirements and design Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Continuously learn new testing technologies and methods to improve the testing process Requirements Proven experience with QA for web apps Good understanding of UX and UI Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Cypress Attention to detail (please include the word "Inception" at the beginning of your response) Experience with Agile methodologies and processes Daily overlap of a few hours with the rest of the team (i.e., ability to work until 16:00 UTC) Benefits How we will support your growth and success: Work closely with executives, leadership and cross-functional organization including engineering, marketing and business operations.
