QA Automation

• Create test plans and test cases
  
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts to reduce manual regress test activities
  
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs in Jira
  
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  
• Participate in the development of an autotesting strategy, one of the goals of which is to reduce regression at release
  
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  
• Together with the team, identify the necessary application scenarios for autotest coverage and subsequently develop UI tests
  
• Future goals after onboarding period:
  
• Creating integration tests
  
• Participate in high-load and performance testing
  

Requirements

• Experience in UI test development
  
• Proven work experience in software development
  
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  
• Basic knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
  
• Load testing experience is a plus
