It has empowered clubs and agents to facilitate over 6000 transfers since its launch in 2017. 💻 How We Work We work in cross-functional squads, made up of full-stack engineers, product managers, designers, analysts, and automated QAs. Together, these squads own a key area of our platform — from club tools and agent products to core infrastructure and data services. We believe the best work happens when teams are empowered to make decisions, collaborate openly, and ship fast. Our squads are lean and can develop and deploy their products end-to-end autonomously. Our engineers pair program, do code reviews, and iterate quickly to keep learning and improving. We practice Scrumban and deploy new features to our customers every two weeks or sooner. 🏟️ Locations & Flexible Working Our main office is at Bankside, London with additional tech teams in Poland and Ukraine. Our office is naturally social, especially Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays, when we have regular team drinks, celebrations and five-a-side football. 🎯 What You'll Be Working On TransferRoom is seeking a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer to test our software and automate end-to-end tests. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our product. If you’re excited about solving problems at scale, we’ll support you with onboarding and learning opportunities to get up to speed. ✅ You Should Apply If If you have proven experience in test automation using Playwright with C#. Strong experience in API test automation and validating REST APIs. Solid understanding of test automation architecture and best practices, including the Page Object Model (POM), reusable frameworks, and maintainable test design. Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and Azure Cosmos DB to validate application data and support automated testing. Familiarity with Azure Functions and cloud-based applications. A technical mindset with the ability to investigate issues across the application stack, including UI, APIs, databases, and backend services. Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity, accelerate test development, and optimise day-to-day engineering tasks. Good understanding of software testing methodologies, including regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Experience working with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines. Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and reliable automation code. Comfortable taking ownership of automation initiatives and continuously improving the quality of the automation framework.
