About the Role
Our Quality Engineering team owns end-to-end test execution and quality sign-off across web and mobile products — regression, functional validation, and readiness gates for major releases and migrations. We're looking for a QA Automation & Manual Testing Lead to own a workstream end-to-end: drive automation coverage, lead manual regression where automation isn't there yet, and manage a team of contributors across time zones.
What You'll Do
- Own test strategy for one or more initiatives, balancing coverage against regression sign-off timelines
- Build and maintain E2E automation suites for web using TestCafe with TypeScript, and for mobile using R2 (YAML-based, built on Appium)
- Integrate and maintain automation pipelines through LooperPro, with cross-browser/device execution on SauceLabs
- Monitor test execution health and trends via Grafana dashboards
- Drive manual regression execution and issue triage for web and app surfaces, coordinating across PST/IST contributors
- Track and report initiative status, blockers, and effort allocation
- Mentor and provide technical direction to manual and automation testers on the team
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA, with demonstrated ownership of both manual regression and test automation
- Hands-on experience with TestCafe and TypeScript for web E2E automation
- Hands-on experience with Appium-based mobile automation frameworks (e.g. R2 or equivalent YAML-driven frameworks)
- Experience running automated suites through CI/CD orchestration tools such as LooperPro, with cloud device/browser grids like SauceLabs
- Familiarity with Grafana (or similar) for test/observability dashboards
- Experience managing or leading a distributed QA team (PST/IST or similar cross-timezone setup)
- Proficiency with Jira (test case management, sprint tracking) and Confluence (test plans, status reporting)
- Experience with regression testing and sign-off processes and issue management ways of working
- Strong communication skills — able to report status to leadership and coordinate with engineering, product, and program management
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Kubernetes-based deployment pipelines and CI/CD tooling as they relate to test environment readiness
- Experience testing e-commerce catalog, checkout, or payment flows (cart, checkout, payments, account/profile)
- Prior experience supporting large-scale platform migrations or re-platforming efforts
- Familiarity with Git-based CI workflows
What we are looking to achieve with this position
- Reduced manual regression footprint through expanded automation coverage
- Regression sign-off time held to 1–2 days
- Clear, consistent status reporting into the team's initiative tracker
- A well-run, well-mentored team with clear task distribution and effort tracking
