Position Overview As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and usability of software applications throughout the development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, Designers, and stakeholders to validate requirements, identify defects, and contribute to the delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in manual testing, Agile development environments, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on business requirements and acceptance criteria. Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using Jira. Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to reproduce and resolve issues. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Validate completed user stories against acceptance criteria before release. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to software quality and testing processes. Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing using tools such as BrowserStack. Support API testing efforts when required using tools such as Postman. Ensure clear and comprehensive test documentation and bug reports. Requirements Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. Experience performing manual testing for web and/or mobile applications. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Experience using Jira for defect tracking and test management. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Upper-Intermediate English level (B2) or higher, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools. Experience using BrowserStack or similar cross-browser testing platforms. Familiarity with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks. Knowledge of performance, security, or accessibility testing principles.
