About DCM Services DCM Services is a receivables management company that helps organizations resolve complex, exception-based accounts — including specialized work in probate and deceased-account receivables. We combine deep industry expertise with modern technology to deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient outcomes for our clients. As we continue to grow, we're investing in our engineering and quality practices, including the use of AI-powered tools, to build better software and better processes. About the Role We're looking for a QA Engineer to own quality across our software development lifecycle. This isn't a "test at the end" role — you'll be embedded throughout the SDLC, designing test strategies, building automated testing frameworks, and partnering closely with developers to catch issues early and verify they're properly resolved. You'll also help build the tooling and infrastructure that make quality everyone's job, not just QA's. We're a team that actively uses AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor — both to test smarter and to accelerate how we build test automation and internal tooling. If you're excited about using modern tools to level up quality practices, we'd love to talk. What You'll Do Own the QA function across the SDLC — executing testing, validating development work against requirements, and verifying defects are properly resolved before work moves forward Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites covering unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing Build and maintain testing frameworks and tooling that empower the broader development team to write effective tests as part of their normal workflow Leverage AI tools to assist in testing and to accelerate development of test automation, test data, and internal quality tooling Execute manual testing where automated coverage doesn't yet exist, with a focus on progressively automating recurring scenarios Participate in the release process, including pre-release validation, smoke testing, and post-release verification Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with developers to ensure issues are well understood and addressed Partner with developers throughout development to review requirements, flag testability concerns, and define acceptance criteria Write and maintain documentation for test strategies, test plans, framework usage, and quality processes Contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and deployment automation Support tasks tied to our Information Security Program and adhere to company information, security, and privacy policies Requirements What You'll Bring Experience designing and implementing automated test suites for web-based applications Experience with testing frameworks/tools in the .NET ecosystem (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar) Proficiency writing code in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages used for maintainable test automation Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases, including writing queries to validate data and set up test conditions Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) both for testing and for building test infrastructure Strong understanding of software quality principles, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfort working with structured change control processes and source version control tools A commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and structured, process-based thinking Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 3–5 years of related experience (or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree) Nice to Have Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) Experience with build automation, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code Experience with performance, load, or security testing Knowledge of Windows servers and Microsoft IIS Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment Additional Requirements Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form Strong problem-solving, research, analytical, and project management skills Ability to professionally communicate with clients and other stakeholders #DCMHP1 Salary Description $115,000 to $130,000 annually
