NoscAi builds ClinicOS, the practice management platform for medical practices in Germany: appointments, patient records, health-insurance billing, a patient portal, video consultations and AI transcription. Doctors run their whole working day on it.
We're a startup. We move fast, the product grows every sprint, and every new feature is a new place for bugs to hide.
WHAT THIS JOB IS REALLY ABOUT
Catching bugs before a release is only part of the job. The rest is clearing out the bugs already in production and making sure fewer get in to begin with.
So we're not looking for someone who stands at the gate and counts what gets caught. We want someone who is bothered when a bug reaches a doctor, who digs into why it got through, and who finds a new way to stop the next one. That might be a better test, a better process, or an AI agent nobody has built yet.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Test sprint tickets before they ship, and send them back with clear evidence when they're not ready
• Look for the bugs nobody wrote a ticket for: edge cases, roles and permissions, unusual data, the German and English UI
• Triage bug reports from customers: reproduce them, prioritise them and find the pattern behind them
• Find out where our bugs come from and push for fixes at the source, with developers, with product and in our process
• Write and maintain Playwright end-to-end tests (TypeScript)
• Run and improve our AI agents (Claude Code), which explore the app, reproduce bugs and draft tests
• Run acceptance testing on staging before every two-weekly release
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• You work hard and you enjoy it. A startup isn't a calm 9-to-5, and you don't want it to be.
• Hard problems pull you in. When something has been broken for months, you don't get used to it. You try a different angle.
• You want a career in QA. Not a route into frontend or backend development, but a craft you want to be great at.
• [3+] years testing web applications
• Experience writing automated tests (Playwright, Cypress or Selenium), and you're comfortable reading TypeScript or JavaScript
• You write clearly in English and speak up when quality is at stake
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience with healthcare, billing or other regulated software
• API testing, reading logs (Grafana/Loki), basic SQL
• You already use AI tools in your testing and have opinions on what works
• Some German
WHAT WE OFFER
• A competitive salary for the Indonesian market
• Remote work, with regular calls in the evening (WIB) to overlap with our team in Germany
• Real ownership: you work directly with the CTO and both dev teams
• A QA setup most companies don't have yet: AI agents that explore the app and file bugs, and the freedom to build new ones
• A product where your work protects doctors and patients
HOW TO APPLY: VIDEO FIRST
We don't hold a first call until we've seen you. Record a 3–5 minute video of yourself with your camera on. No editing needed, and please don't read from a script. Answer these three questions:
1. Who are you, and where do you want to be in 3 years?
2. What's the hardest bug or problem you've ever cracked? What was it, what did you try, and what finally worked?
3. A product has a QA team that finds plenty of bugs, yet for months the same number of bugs keep reaching customers. You join on Monday. What do you do in your first 30 days?
Upload the video to Loom, YouTube (unlisted) or Google Drive and include the link with your CV. We won't review applications without a video.
