About us

Fleetlery runs last-mile delivery in Berlin. Our couriers, most of them on bikes, deliver for restaurants, retailers and delivery marketplaces.

What you’ll do

• Test the courier app. This covers login and invitations, accepting and running a tour, pickup and delivery confirmation (photo, PIN, age check), multi-stop tours, geofencing, push notifications, background GPS, and what happens with a bad network or no network.
• Test the dispatcher dashboard. This covers order intake, assignment, live order and tour views, “needs attention” alerts, courier and fleet partner management, roles and permissions, pricing and settings.
• Follow an order end to end. It comes in from a partner, gets dispatched, the courier picks it up, it’s delivered or cancelled, and the status goes back to the partner. Check that the data is right at every step.
• Test the APIs and webhooks with Postman or a similar tool. This includes rejected inputs, error responses, duplicate orders, status polling and signed webhooks.
• Report bugs clearly: steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual result, device and OS, screenshots or screen recordings, and severity.
• Help with user acceptance testing and the pilot. Sit with dispatchers and couriers, collect their feedback and turn it into tickets.
• Work with the engineers on the courier simulator and load tests, for example 200 active tours and 150 online couriers in one service area. Tell them which flows are worth automating next.
• Look out for data protection. Courier and customer data is personal data. Flag anything that shows too much of it or shows it to the wrong person.

What you bring

• 2+ years of manual QA on mobile apps (Android and iOS) and web apps
• Comfortable testing APIs with Postman, Insomnia or curl, and reading JSON
• Experience writing test plans, test cases and regression suites
• Clear, precise bug reports
• An eye for edge cases: time zones, slow networks, permissions, two people editing the same record
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Will to work in German office time w.r.t CET.

Nice to have

• Experience with delivery, logistics, ride-hailing or other location-based apps
• Testing background location, push notifications and offline mode
• Basic SQL to check data in a database
• Some Playwright or another automation tool, or interest in learning it
• Testing webhooks and signed requests (HMAC)
• Knowing GDPR basics as they apply to personal data.
