QA Engineer - SAP S/4HANA

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA QA Engineer / Test Specialist to join an international enterprise transformation project.

You will play a key role in ensuring product quality and successful delivery across SAP S/4HANA environments, with an initial focus on test coordination, planning, execution and defect management.

Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Solution Architects and Development teams, you will help define testing strategies, coordinate test cycles and ensure that business requirements are translated into reliable, high-quality solutions.

The project covers several SAP functional domains, including Supply Chain Execution (SD/MM), Procurement, Manufacturing Controlling (CO/PC) and Global Trade Management (GTS).

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate SAP S/4HANA testing activities, including test preparation, planning, execution and reporting.
• Design and execute functional, integration (SIT), UAT, regression and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans and risk-based testing approaches.
• Build and maintain automated UI and API tests using tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Perform API and backend testing to validate system integrations and data flows.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including identification, prioritization, root-cause analysis and retesting.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements.
• Support release readiness, product quality assessments and testing sign-off activities.
• Contribute to CI/CD integration, quality monitoring and continuous testing improvements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with international stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in Software QA, Product QA or Test Engineering.
• Experience testing SAP S/4HANA or complex enterprise applications, with SAP S/4HANA experience particularly important for this project.
• Strong knowledge of functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression and test coordination.
• Practical experience with test automation frameworks such as Tricentis Tosca, Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman.
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, SAP Solution Manager or similar test management tools.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Functional knowledge of SAP SD, MM, CO/PC, GTS or Procurement.
• Experience with SAP transformation or ERP migration projects.
• Experience with SAP-focused test automation and cross-system integrations.
• Understanding of shift-left QA practices.
• French language skills.
