QA Lead (Manual Testing)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Manual QA Lead to join an international team working on web-based applications.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining manual testing (50%) with QA team coordination and oversight (50%).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate QA activities throughout development and release cycles.
• Review product requirements, identify potential risks, and plan testing efforts.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and regression suites.
• Perform manual testing of complex features and workflows.
• Guide QA engineers, prioritize tasks, and ensure testing deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Use AI-powered tools to streamline testing and documentation.
• Support collaboration between manual QA and automation teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software QA, primarily manual testing.
• Previous experience leading or coordinating QA teams.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes, test planning, and release management.
• Experience with Jira, Xray, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Solid experience testing web applications.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA activities.

Nice to Have

• E-commerce testing experience.
• Familiarity with Playwright, TypeScript, or other automation tools.
• Experience using AI tools in QA workflows.

Note: This is primarily a manual QA leadership position. Automation coding experience is not required.
