QA Tester - Remote

- This is a remote position;

- Write, update and/or review of test plans, test cases, and other quality assurance related technical data forms and quality documents;

- Perform investigations of non-conformances, customer complaints and corrective actions;

- Ensure the timely and effective follow up of all identified or assigned quality issues;

- Work with product development and engineering teams to ensure proper completion of required product documentation and translating them into test plans.

- Hands-on and strong experience in manual testing of Web and Mobile applications;

- Pragmatic approach to testing and whole application life cycle to carefully balance quality requirements up against time to market and agility;

- Analytical, structured, fact based person with good communication skills;

- Quick learner with ability to identify risk and prioritize critical tasks;

- Planning test activities in all phases;

- Manages day-to-day test activities, including test monitoring, status reporting to PM;

- Facilitate communication with development, testing, implementation and production support teams;

- Perform manual testing analysis, design and execution on Web and Mobile applications;

- Defect Management. Ensuring all encountered defects are assigned, worked, resolved and re-tested;

- Release management assistance;

- At least 3 years in testing or similar experience;

- Experience in testing of iOS, Android and Web applications;

- Project/ Test management experience (agile/Scrum);

- Analytical skills with metrics management and reporting;

- Day-to-day hands-on one or more projects;

- Good spoken and written English communication skills.

Nice to have:

- Basic knowledge of programming languages (Java, JavaScript);

- Knowledge of ISTQB - Certified ISTQB Software Test Foundation;

- Experience in Test Automation (Appium, Selenium, Protractor);

- Understanding of REST API.
