QC Engineer (Lumin Sign)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ensuring product quality across the SDLC, focusing on stability, reliability, and user experience.
• Design and execute test scenarios using both structured test cases and exploratory testing.
• Support release cycles and ensure features are truly ready for users.
• Work closely with engineers and BA/POs to clarify requirements and identify risks early.
• Investigate bugs, perform root cause analysis, and help prevent recurring issues.
• Participate in product discussions and provide feedback to improve feature design and user experience.
• Partner with Customer Support to validate user-reported issues and contribute to improving overall user satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in QC/QA for mobile applications, with solid manual testing experience and basic exposure to automation testing.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and testing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks (Maestro is a plus).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or similar.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Good English communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and feedback.
• Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership and willingness to learn, ask questions, and improve product quality.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in writing automated test scripts.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Burp Suite, or similar).
• Experience using AI tools to support testing workflows and optimize automation scripts.
• Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman or similar tools).
• Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript-based testing environments.
