We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst 1 to join our delivery teams, working on one of the highest‑volume global payment platforms in the world. Our platform processes millions of transactions daily, with a strong emphasis on robustness, security, scalability, and quality engineering excellence.
You will be part of a cross‑functional agile team consisting of developers, QA analysts, product owners, and a scrum master. Each team owns its backlog end‑to‑end, from discovery through delivery and post‑live support, operating within Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe frameworks as appropriate
What you’ll own
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will contribute to delivering high‑quality software by supporting quality engineering and testing activities, collaborating closely with your team, and building strong technical and domain knowledge. You’ll help test and perfect fintech products that change the way people around the world pay, bank, and invest.
You will:
- Contribute to the design and planning of test plans and test strategies for projects and applications
- Support test planning activities for agile deliveries, working within Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe teams
- Analyze requirements and user stories to understand risk and derive effective manual and automated test coverage for API's, Microservices and integrated systems
- Execute testing thoroughly to assure software quality, including test case execution, exploratory testing, API testing, microservices testing, and automated test execution.
- Analyze and report on quality risks based on manual and automation results, producing defect reports and test completion reports
- Contribute to release support activities
- Create automated tests to progress automation work items and enhance the existing test suite (using Karate framework for API and service automation)
- Support and maintain the test automation framework, contributing to new features, existing functionality, and bug fixes
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner, keeping progress and risks visible
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, recommending quality and process improvements where appropriate
What you’ll bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
- 3-5 years of practical experience working in a Quality Assurance or Test Automation role, supporting automated and manual testing activities with Microservices APIs
- Curiosity – you ask the right questions, listening and learning to get better every day
- Familiarity with working in an agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe), ideally within complex systems
- Hands‑on experience with test automation, including creating and maintaining automated tests
- A solid understanding of software testing principles, including test planning, estimation, prioritization, and risk‑based testing
- Exposure to agile testing practices such as BDD, TDD, or similar approaches and with tools like Karate or Cucumber
- Ability to analyze requirements and user stories, identifying risks and appropriate test coverage
- An understanding of quality management methods, tools and technologies, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Expertise in at least one object-oriented language, preferably Java
It’s a bonus if you have
- A keen interest in AI and the ability to use AI tools in your day‑to‑day work
- Experience working in a global online business, fintech, payments, or other complex industries
- Familiar with Contract testing, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, HTTP simulation/mocking libraries like Wiremock and exposure to Spring Framework or Spring Boot
