Position Overview: This fully remote role is exclusively open to candidates residing in the United States . As a QA Engineer at Nebulon Dynamics, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability. You'll design and execute tests to identify issues, ensuring our products, services, and offerings meet or exceed industry standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust testing protocols, document results, and drive continuous improvements all from the comfort of your home. What You'll Be Doing: Testing & Validation: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform manual and automated testing on software, hardware, and service offerings. Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. Validate that all products and services meet functional, performance, and reliability standards. Process Improvement: Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to identify areas for improvement. Recommend and implement enhancements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Drive continuous quality improvements across all projects and departments. Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and defect reports. Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to development teams. Generate quality reports and metrics for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and trends. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other engineers to understand project requirements. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Communicate complex quality issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all products and services comply with industry standards and company policies. Stay up-to-date with the latest quality assurance trends, tools, and best practices. Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and testing frameworks. Technical Skills: Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems. Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Postman, or similar). Understanding of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
