Role Overview

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and evolving an automated testing suite for a healthcare product. This role is fully focused on test automation and QA engineering, combining traditional automation frameworks with emerging AI-powered QA approaches.

You will work closely with engineering and product teams to build reliable automated coverage, integrate testing into the delivery pipeline, and explore and implement AI agents and agentic QA platforms to improve how tests are generated, executed, analyzed, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites for a healthcare product.
• Build end-to-end automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to detect regressions early.
• Design reliable test architecture, reusable components, stable selectors, and isolated test data strategies.
• Evaluate, implement, and orchestrate AI-powered QA agents and agentic testing workflows.
• Work with AI-native QA platforms and tools to accelerate test generation, execution, analysis, and maintenance.
• Investigate automation failures, identify root causes, and continuously improve test reliability and coverage.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product, and technical stakeholders to embed automated quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

✅ Must-Have

• 5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation / Software Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or comparable modern automation frameworks.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated end-to-end test suites.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid programming/scripting skills, preferably TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience working with APIs, test data, debugging, and automation architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Fluent professional English.

⭐ Nice-to-Have

• Experience implementing or orchestrating AI agents for QA or software testing workflows.
• Experience with AI-native testing platforms such as Mabl or similar tools.
• Experience using LLMs or coding agents to generate, maintain, or analyze automated tests.
• Experience with healthcare products or other regulated domains.
• Experience working with U.S.-based product teams.
