Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Description The Owner role at Global Research Reports is a part-time remote position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and daily operations of the business. This includes defining service offerings, managing client relationships, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of research deliverables. The role involves reviewing and approving research methodologies, guiding report development, and maintaining standards for clarity and accuracy in all client-facing materials. The Owner will also manage financial planning at a high level, coordinate marketing and business development efforts, and make decisions on resource allocation. Collaboration with contractors, partners, or small internal teams to support research, analysis, and client projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong background in market research, business analysis, or consulting, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
• Experience in business ownership, leadership, or operations management, including strategic planning and decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, manage expectations, and present findings professionally.
• Proficiency with digital tools for remote work, such as online collaboration platforms, project management software, and basic office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities on a part-time schedule, and maintain accountability for outcomes.
• Background in marketing, customer insights, or brand positioning is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
